Now the interview I was talking about two days ago is online, and very interesting! Oliver talks about Tyler Clementi (who inspired the play), Christopher Shinn, how he got into the character of Drew, who he’s inspired by, working at the Donmar Warehouse, being gay or straight and having a similar background, homophobia and so on.

<<Alex Goldberg speaks to Oliver Johnstone who takes on the role of student newspaper editor Drew in Christopher Shinn’s play Teddy Ferrara. Inspired by real events, this story of campus politics and loneliness is on at the Donmar Warehouse until 5 December.>>

Out In South London is a weekly LGBT radio show on Resonance 104.4FM that goes out live every Tuesday at 6.30pm. It is devised and presented by comedian Rosie Wilby and jointly produced by Rosie Wilby and Sabine Schereck.

I posted the link on the Interviews page, as well.

I wonder if this is the New Yorker article Oliver was talking about: http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2012/02/06/the-story-of-a-suicide
