Interview to Oliver Johnstone and the first King Lear reviews!

Yesterday night was King Lear‘s Press Night and today there are several reviews on the play praising Oliver’s performance as Edgar/Poor Tom!

But the most welcomed tweet to me is the one by London Weekly News ‏@LDNweekly, who shares an interview with Oliver!

  1. Just home after seeing wonderful performances of King Lear at RSC Stratford. Oliver Johnstone shone throughout. Interested to see what this very talented young man will do next. Xx

    1. Hello Penny! Your is a lovely comment and I’m so agree! I was lucky to see him playing Edgar, too, and he totally blew me away! I loved RSC Lear, there were plenty of good performances! Edgar is also my favourite character in the story.
I greatly suggest you to see him as Iachimo in Cymbeline, too! Such opposite characters, I don’t know how he makes it!
He’ll be in the London season at the Barbican with both the plays. I’m curious to know what he will do next, too! x
